Current County Labor Force Components
The labor force is defined as those in the population 16 years of age and older who are 1) either working, or 2) looking for work. The labor force is measured based upon where a person lives, not upon where they work. For example, someone who lives in Davis County but works in Salt Lake City is part of Davis County’s labor force. Those who hold multiple jobs are only counted once as employed.
