The Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals for Incumbent Worker Training Programs. This initiative is focused on training the incumbent worker to improve their skills for tomorrow’s workforce. This educational initiative encourages and rewards workers already in the workforce who improve their knowledge and skills within their industry. It complements and is funded through the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA). DWS believes this initiative an essential component of Utah’s workforce development system.
